Print labels from a PDF template

Start with the blank template for your label stock. PixoLabel reads supported repeating grids on your device, and you can check or enter every measurement yourself.

Maintained by PixoLabel · Software walkthrough checked . Examples use PixoLabel-created layouts; printer and stock results must be checked on your equipment.

Import and check your template

  1. Open Labels → Import PDF template and choose your blank template PDF.
  2. Check the paper size, label shape, label dimensions, margins, gaps, rows and columns against your supplier’s specification.
  3. If a single supported repeating outline grid is detected confidently, its settings can be applied automatically. Review the preview before continuing.
  4. When more than one outline grid is detected, choose the correct grid in Template analysis and reference. Review image-based estimates before applying them.

When to enter measurements manually

Irregular layouts, incomplete grids and some scanned templates cannot be applied automatically. Choose Enter dimensions manually and copy the measurements from your stock specification. Use the preview to check the sheet edges and spacing.

PixoLabel supports repeating rectangles, rounded rectangles, circles and ovals. A square uses equal width and height.

Add artwork and test the result

Move to Designs, upload artwork or create a design, and set the quantity. In Print, review the sheet before downloading. The imported reference PDF is a setup guide; its original contents are not printed.

Use a template you are entitled to use. Your PDF is processed locally. Test on plain paper first, using Actual size / 100% printing.
